Endeavour Quay is managed and operated by a privately owned company, Marina Projects, which is based in Gosport in Hampshire. The Directors of Marina Projects Directors have been actively involved in the UK and international marina industry for several decades and have a real passion for their chosen industry and high standards in all that they do!

Marina Projects provides a range of services to the marina and property industries, covering all aspects of marina design, waterfront development and operational management. The management team has in-depth experience of working with a wide variety of private clients, commercial organisations and public bodies including Development Agencies and Local Authorities. The Endeavour Quay Team

Mark Bowden – Operations Director

Mark is the Director responsible for the operation of Endeavour Quay. He has over 25 years’ experience working within the marina industry, ranging from practical ‘hands on’ management of marinas and commercial marine operations, to the planning of new marina developments and acquisitions. Mark is a keen sailor and owns a boat himself.

Tim Newell – Boat Yard Manager

Tim Newell, the Endeavour Quay Boat Yard Manager joined the Company in April 2008, having previously worked in marina management in Cowes, Isle of Wight and at Haslar Marina in Gosport. Tim deals with the overall management of the yard, looking after the tenants, bringing in new business and ensuring that existing customers are kept informed and are happy with the service that we offer. Tim is a keen sailor and enjoys getting out on the water when he can.

Lindsey Hill – Office Manager

Lindsey previously worked at Camper & Nicholsons in the administration office. Lindsey runs the yard reception, is in charge of the administration and invoicing and deals with customer enquiries and bookings.

Bill Shaw – Yard Foreman

Bill has worked in the boatbuilding industry for over 40 years and for most of that time was the Foreman of Camper & Nicholsons, the previous owners of the yard. Bill brings an unrivalled wealth of experience and expertise to our Endeavour Quay operation, not only in the safe manner in which he directs the lifting of the boats, but also through his in depth knowledge of the many boats that he has previously seen, when they were being built in the yard.

Simon Pickwell – Hoist and Crane Driver.

Simon worked as the Hoist operator and crane driver at Camper & Nicholsons for 5 years and was the natural choice to assist Bill Shaw, when the yard was re opened as Endeavour Quay in 2006. Simon operates all the machinery at Endeavour Quay with a lightness of touch that contradicts the machinery’s awesome weight and power.
