Solent Boat Services is a company formed from RM Marine Services and Dunn’s Marine Joinery.  The company is headed by Paul Dunn and Robert Magee both fully indentured and qualified boat builders having completed full five year apprenticeships with Camper and Nicholsons Ltd.

The team have 20 years experience between them in building and repairing wooden and composite hulls including Spirit Yachts and, for example, significant involvement in the refit of the Gypsy Moth project.  Their reputation is built on high quality boat repair work including all timber work, hull planking, furnishings, interior joinery, all types of general upkeep and maintenance etc.

Work is completed to a very high standard and “right first time”, set against modest and sensible rates.  No job is too small and many owners have returned very pleased with the quality of work and reliability of service.
